I'm diggin' the new changes made recently on the main and sub-pages. Here's some suggestions + bugs I've noticed. -When adding a post, if the image is uploaded and post save and the user returns and then adds the plate ID, it reads as "0 Violations". (This can be frustrating if you forget to add the plate or forget to add the correct number or state). - Maybe limit the tags area on the right side of the page to tags used more than 10, 15, or 20 times to de-clutter a bit. - "Repeat offenders" sub-page dedicated to calling on companies with a serious disregard for safety to change their ways. - Change © 2006 – 2007 MyBikeLane in footer to, © 2006 – 2008 MyBikeLane :) That's all I can think of right now. Thanks for adding the forums. |

Ahh yes, the zero offense issue. I keep meaning to fix and I keep forgetting. I will get that on my list. The tag issue is a tough one. I will likely do what you suggest, but have a see all. The top offender page is a neat idea. Any thoughts as to how to make it automated as opposed to manual edited? Should it be tied to plate, tag, or something else? |

That's a tough one. Can't really rely on people to tag everything based on company and we kind of have that anyway with the basic tag feature. I have some ideas for it that I'll post here when I flesh them out a bit more in my head or on paper. |

I took care of most of these tonight. The page of top offenders is something I will give some thought to. |

The fine-tune feature on the map doesn't seem to be working. Just dragged the pointer to where it needed to be in my Coral Gables entry, and when I clicked the button to update the pointer reverted to the intersection instead of staying where the actual violation occurred. |

Hey, Stop picking on the armored car guys. They park as close to their pickup/deliveries as possible for safety reasons. As you know they do carry large sums of money. If they block a bike lane for severl minutes then so be it. |

Another note: A few years back a Dunbar Guard was shot and killed by a guy

I don't buy it. In a lot of the photos of armored cars, there is space at curbside, yet the trucks are still parked in the bike lane. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to park at the curb, by your logic? Besides, one could argue that one of the goals of this site is to draw attention to the fact that our parking regulations need reform. If more curbside space were allocated for commercial vehicles (and not private automobiles), there'd be less "need" to park in bike lanes. |
