I think the sign is showing that taxis should pull to the right of the concrete divider. It doesn't expressly suggest that yellow cabs should park/stand in the bike lane. There was probably a problem with the cabs stopping on the main portion of Adams St causing serious traffic problems. |

I have gone inside the Marriott and asked a manager if he could tell the taxis to pull into the hotel's driveway. He said that he has no incentive to do that since the police do not enforce the rules regarding the bike lane. I have written to the area police precinct with no reply. The problem has only gotten worse, more cars than ever parked in the lane. And the other day I was getting honked at by a car for riding in the car lane. Oh well, what to do? |

We should all photo campaign this area and tag every photo w/ marriott. Give the manager some motivation in the form of bad press. |
